A common mode of chess where each player has 30 minutes each by timer to make their moves. The timer starts when it’s a players turn, and their timer stops when it’s their opponents turn, in which the opponents timer starts. A player can only win through Checkmate, Stalemate, or if the opponents time expires.
Although, when someone says “let’s play chess”, it’s not always timed.
