Draw

A Draw occurs when there isn’t enough pieces to checkmate or when a Stalemate occurs.

An example is shown below: A King and a Bishop can’t put an opponents King in checkmate.

Draw
A White King in Check
Draw 2
White King moves down 1 space to avoid check
draw 3
Black King moves down one space to stay with the White King

The Black King and White King can never put each other in Check since both of their Capture radius’s are 1 square all around, and it’d be an Illegal Move if one of the Kings tried to put one another in Check. As long as the White King stays out of black squares, the Bishop on the black squares can’t put the White King in check.

Note: Either player has the ability to make a Draw proposal. If each player agrees to the Draw, the game is recorded as a Draw.

A Draw also occurs if 50 consecutive moves happen without a capture between both teams and if no pawns are moved.

A Draw can be claimed if a player makes the same move 3 consecutive times unable to make any other move.
