The Queen is a mixture of all chess pieces. The queen can move in any direction; not including the unique L shape movement the Knight can do, nor can the Queen overpass other pieces that obstruct it’s path as the Knight can do. The Queen can move as many spaces as it wants in any direction as long as the path is unobstructed.

The Queen can capture any opponent piece that is in it’s path.
